[Afternoon tea] Hopetoun Tea Rooms

Before I arrived at Melbourne, I’ve heard of this amazing place which is famous for its tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. There are many cafe shops on the streets. People can choose one randomly and enjoy their own leisurely afternoon, which absolutely appeal to me!

My school campus was in Melbourne city. One day after school, my friend recommend me to try this famous century-old tea room called Hopetoun Tea Rooms which established in 1893.

Hopetoun tea rooms is at the arcade of collin street. There are few customers line up to wait for seats all the time. Fortunately, I didnt wait for a long time.

This traditional English tea room also offers kinds of herbal tea, scone, muffin, pancake, salad and sandwiches. Whatever people want full or light meal.

I prefered fruity cake so I ordered the lovely mousse cake with guava and pear, the other one was chocolate cake with coconut and vanilla. They were all wonderful! Furthermore, I like its quiet atmosphere and friendly service.
